About this Business
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, OAS is open by appointment only. To make an appointment, call us at (510) 535-5602 between 11am to 4pm any day of the week. For adoptions, we are open on Saturdays 12-3pm and Sundays 12-3pm (no appointment needed). Oakland Animal Services is Oakland’s only open admissions shelter: We accept all of Oakland’s homeless, injured, orphaned, unwanted, lost, and abandoned animals, regardless of age, breed, temperament or medical condition. We are a city agency that proudly provides public safety and animal welfare services as well as human health and social services. We are here to serve our community’s residents.

When booking any of our services, we need you to know those basic informations to make your experience better on our platform
- Vaccination Requirements
- We require all pets to be current on their Rabies vaccination. with a minimum requirement for a pet to be vaccinated is 48 hours prior to the start of service.
- Service Pricing
- Services and pricing mav vary by location. Price Quoted is based on the individual needs of your pet, e.g. coat condition, size, breed, etc.
- Cancellation policy
- Free cancellation for 48 hours. If cancelling within 4 hours of an appointment. please contact the service provider

- To maintain a certain quality of service we need a minimum informations verification : Full name Email address Confirmed phone number Pet informations(name, breed, age, size...)
