Clackamas County Dog Services

We are the stray holding facility for Clackamas County. We offer our dogs for adoption once the holding period has expired and after we have assessed them for behavior issues, have made sure they are healthy, and that they are up to date on rabies vaccinations. They are also spayed or neutered prior to leaving our facility and licensed with the County. Our officers only respond to complaints from other residents. They do not drive around looking for issues. Our job is to keep the animals and people of Clackamas County safe. Clackamas Dogs Foundation is a separate, 501(c)3 organization that supports some of the programs at Clackamas County Dog Services. The Shelter is closed on Saturday, Sunday and all major holidays!"
